Guides

Whenever people think about mecha franchises, Gundam is likely one of the top franchises that would come to mind. This is why there are many different contents about this popular mecha franchise. The latest Gundam content comes in the form of Gundam Evolution, a first-person shooting game published by Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. It’s a game where you get to enjoy FPS action using different mobile suits from the Gundam franchise.

As a relatively new game, you can’t expect all available mobile suits in the franchise to be present. But there are good mobile suits you can use to play in the FPS. In this blog post, we’ll discuss the current Gundam Evolution Roster and rank each one based on the difficulty of their usage.

The Current Gundam Evolution Roster’s Rank Based on Usage Difficulty

The current Gundam Evolution Roster contains 17 different mobile suits. These mobile suits are not only the Gundams themselves but also other machines featured across various Gundam Series.

Another easy mobile suit to use is the DOM Trooper, which first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED series. It has a difficulty of 1-star, is a mid-range unit, and has an HP of 1200. It only has a dash limit of 1, but its ease of use makes up for it in the game.

Unicorn Gundam RX-0 (Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn)

The Unicorn Gundam is one of the newest mobile suits in the game and it first appeared in the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn OVA series. It has a difficulty of 2-stars, which still makes it relatively easy to use. It’s also a mid-range unit with 800 HP and a dash limit of 2. Its low HP is compensated for having more firepower.

A good close-range mobile suit you can use is the GM, which first appeared in the Mobile Suit Gundam series. It has a difficulty rating of 2-stars with an HP of 800 and a dash limit of 2. Turn A Gundam WD-M01 (Turn A Gundam)

The Turn A Gundam, which first appeared in the series with the same title, is a great mid-range unit to use. It has a difficulty of 2-stars, an HP of 1100, and a dash limit of 2. It uses an accurate weapon that can also charge to allow it to deal more damage. Take note the projectile is slower, so you need to time it right to hit enemies with it.

Pale Rider RX-80P3 (Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Missing Link)

The last easy mobile suit to use is the Pale Rider, which first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam Side Story: Missing Link. It’s the last suit in the game that has a difficulty of only 2-stars. Do you want a mobile suit that can transform? Then try Asshimar. It’s a mid-range unit that first appeared in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. Though the transformation is cool, it also makes this mobile suit difficult to use. It has a rating of 3-stars, which means you’ll need some practice to get used to this unit. GM Sniper II RGM-79SP (Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket)

If you want to always be in the heat of the action, then use the GM Sniper II. It’s the only unit in the game so far where you don’t see a drop-off in damage even if you fire from a distance. It first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam 0080: War in the Pocket and features an HP of 800 and a dash limit of 1. It’s not that easy to use, though, since it has a 3-star difficulty.

Another unit that can transform the game is Methuss. It’s a mid-range unit with 800 HP and a dash limit of 2. The mobile suit first appeared in Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.
