Just when you thought the era of battle royale games is over, in comes Ubisoft with a new game called Hyper Scape. While a huge chunk of the gaming community is tired from all the Last Man Standing type survival game, Hyper Scape takes a refreshing experience from the already worn out shooter sub-genre. Ubisoft released Hyper Scape for free on PC, Xbox One and Switch on July 13, 2020. There is no word yet on whether there will be a PS4 version or not.
The game is now available to play as an Open Beta. Register and play today and you will get a free Battle Pass.
What is Hyper Scape?
Hyper Scape is a sci-fi class-based battle royale with a faster pace than most games in the genre. It heavily borrows mechanics from Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends with some Cyberpunk visuals. The game guarantees faster matches, very solid combat and zero pay-to-win tactics. Of course, since it is a f2p game, expect some microtransactions here and there (thanks, Ubi).
Hyper Scape is also one of the few FPS games from Ubisoft that is not under the Tom Clancy belt alongside Far Cry.
The game made its debut trailer just days before the Ubisoft Forward presentation. After the hours-long showcase, Ubisoft released Hyper Scape onto all available platforms for free.
Fast Shooting, Fast Matches
If you love sliding, wall-running and quick time-to-kill duels, Hyper Scape could be the game for you. The game already feels polished especially for an Open Beta state.
