After more than three years locked in the PlayStation Store, the highly acclaimed Action Role-Playing game by Guerrilla Games is finally coming to Steam and Epic Store. Horizon Zero Dawn is going to get packed full of features when it becomes available on August 7, 2020.
What is Horizon Zero Dawn?
According to the new trailer, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete edition will not only come with all the previously released content and expansions but also with the necessary PC options as well. Some of these options include ultra-wide support, unlocked framerates, vibrant foliage, graphical customization, improved reflections, controller mapping options, benchmarking tools, and so much more.
For those new to the title, the battle takes place in the 31st century is a place where humans and large robotic creatures coexist. The game follows the exploits of the main protagonist Aloy in her journey towards uncovering her past. In addition, Horizon Zero Dawn allows players to equip a wide selection of ranged weapons like bows, including spears. The game also employs the use of stealth and skill-tree mechanics commonly found on an ARPG game. Besides, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition also comes packed with its only expansion called The Frozen Wilds.
Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds is a continuation of Aloys exploits, which, as the title suggests, takes place in a winter wonderland that comes with wondrous mecha-beasts. In a nutshell, you will be getting two adventures in one at a discounted price. If that’s not worth getting excited about, I do not know what is.
The Highly-Acclaimed Title from Guerrilla Games
Horizon Zero Dawn was developed using Guerrilla Game’s proprietary game engine Decima, the same engine that powered Hideo Kojima’s Death Stranding. Often referred to as one of the best PS4 exclusives during its time, It is a title perfect for those who love a great storyline, fast-paced adventure, and brilliant design.
Also, Horizon Zero Dawn also managed to accumulate an impressive 89/100 Metascore from 115 critics with 110 positives and five mixed reviews. You know when a game is useful when the Metascore is synonymous with the user review score. Which in this case is 8.4/10 based on 8524 ratings with 7094 positive, 574 mixed, and 856 negative impressions as of writing
