The long-awaited reveal of the next PlayStation console has finally happened. Although the next-gen console became an instant meme overnight, the upcoming games that will are also impressive. Nonetheless—some of these titles showcased in the reveal of the highly anticipated console last June. As we get closer to the upcoming launch of the console, Sony is slowly unveiling some sweet details about the software or games. One of the latest info is the box design of the games (see image below).

Spider-Man Miles Morales PlayStation 5 Game
One of the games that captured the attention of the PS5 community is the announcement of the next Spider-Man game by Insomniac. For those new to the title, Spider-Man Miles Morales follows the exploit of the main protagonist of the same name. Miles Morales made his first appearance in Ultimate Comics: Fallout #4, published in August 2011. The character’s role took into action after the death of Peter Parker. Like Peter Parker, Miles Morales received superpowers after he got bitten by a radioactive spider. Although details about the game remain scarce, one thing is for sure that if you enjoyed the first Spider-Man game from Insomniac, then you will surely enjoy the upcoming version.
Horizon Forbidden West
Horizon Forbidden West is the long-awaited sequel to the highly acclaimed 2017 Horizon Zero Dawn. Guerrilla Games, with the use of its iconic Decima engine, will once again take you to a breathtaking journey across the post-apocalyptic 31st-century planet ruled by machines. This time, you will accompany the game’s main protagonist Aloy as she explores the ruins of California. Expect an even more exciting, fast-paced open-world adventure when the game launches for the PlayStation 5 in 2021. In case you have yet to experience the first installment of the series, you can still get the title through the PlayStation Store and on 7 August 2020 through Steam.
Demon’s Souls PlayStation 5 Game
Another game that most of us are excited about is Demon’s Souls. Demon’s Souls is a PlayStation 3 title and known as one of the most significant and challenging titles during its time. Demon’s Souls is the first installment of the Soul’s series. Without this title, Dark Souls and the rest of the iconic FromSoftware titles would cease to exist. This critically acclaimed title defined and set the foundation of the ARPGs of today and has become one of the most challenging games in modern gaming. Having a Demon’s Souls remake for the PS5 made by Bluepoint Games is something to look forward to now.
Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart
Besides, another title from Insomniac Games that we are excited about is Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. For those new to the title, Ratchet and Clank is a classic PlayStation 2 title launched way back in 2002. This latest installment based on the little details that we managed to gather comes with the fun elements seen in the previous chapters. The upcoming game will also feature a new character in the form of a female Lombax. Also, Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart will come with a new “portal” feature along with a wide selection of diverse environments and a massive arsenal of weapons.
