Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen Notable Details

Before diving into the new elements in Season 13, it is only fair to mention Devil’s Lair and Fallen SABER’s appearance. Unfortunately, Fallen SABER falls into an issue wherein a player getting blocked during the Fallen SABER is high. This issue led to the suspension of both features, which Bungie swiftly addressed in the latest patch. Other than the bug issue in Strikes, the rest seem to be working great and get accolades from the community.

Moving forward, the new season, like its predecessors, features a new narrative that involves the rise of the daughter of Calus and Leader of the Cabal Empress Capital. Unrest looms within the system after the empress fails to establish her ambitious alliance with Zavala. It is now up to the Guardians to extinguish and fan out the empress’s war council’s growing power.

What’s New in Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen?

Season of the Chosen also comes with an impressive collection of loot. It goes along with the return of the Umbral Engrams System that debuted in Season 11. For those not familiar with the term, the Umbral Engrams system allows players to accumulate loot from various sources. In other words, it is more like an efficient way of targeted farming. The new season also brings 25 new weapons.

The seasonal artifact called the bell of conquest, the H.E.L.M, Trials of Osiris, new exotic cosmetics, unlockable modes, and much more.
Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen is an excellent follow-up to 2020’s Season of the Hunt. For the most part, Season 13 is Bungie’s way of saying that 2021 will be huge for Destiny 2.

If Bungie continues with this trend, there is no doubt that Destiny 2 will soon attract new players and returning players as well. Like its predecessor, Destiny 2 has experienced a plethora of challenges over the years. Nevertheless, just like Destiny, the sequel, from the looks of it, is way beyond those challenges. Thus, it’s safe to say that it will be smooth sailing for the game from this month onwards.
