5. Nintendo Switch Monster Hunter Rise – Capcom

4. Pokémon Snap – The Pokémon Company
Pokémon Snap is a reworked version of the classic Nintendo 64 game. For those who are new to the title, Pokémon Snap employs a camera in place of a Pokéball. Some of the main features of this upcoming title include a unique and original narrative with expanded gameplay. Besides, Pokémon Snap also show off some gadgets and equipment to provide players with a more immersive gaming experience. Pokémon Snap is scheduled to launch on April 30, 2021.
3. Subnautica – Unknown Worlds Entertainment
Subnautica is another popular title coming to Nintendo Switch this year. For those who are not familiar with the game, Subnautica is a Minecraft-inspired game that came out in 2013. For instance, unlike Minecraft the game is more on underwater exploration and survival. Subnautica is currently available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam and is scheduled to launch for the Nintendo Switch this year.
2. Balan Wonderworld – Square Enix
Balan Wonderworld is an action-platformer game with a musical flair. In the game, two characters named Leo Craig and Emma Cole in their quest to follow the character called the Maestro Balan across Wonderland. The game will feature tons of collectables for the player to explore. It will have the ability to switch costumes and abilities between checkpoints. Balan Wonderworld is scheduled to go live on March 26, 2021.
1. Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl – The Pokémon Company
After all the speculation, leaks, and rumours, the classic Pokémon Diamond and Pearl’s remake was finally announced for the Switch. The game will take place in the Sinnoh Region and feature the same narrative featured in the original game. Players of the classic title will revisit familiar places and relive familiar scenes in the game. Catch Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl late this year exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
