Just like that, Sony revealed the much-awaited PS5 that will get its release this Holiday 2020. Sporting the signature black and blue along with a tradition-
breaking primary white, the PS5 shows signs of a brighter future for console gaming. On June 11, 2020 at 5:00 pm GMT -7, Sony announced the new look of the PlayStation 5 and comes with 2 editions: the standard version and a brand-new digital edition. The revelation also included brand-new games including Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Horizon 2: Forbidden West, Demon’s Soul remake, Resident Evil 8, GhostWire: Tokyo and Spider-Man: Miles Morales among dozens of upcoming games.
The Next Generation of Console Gaming
2020 is the year that the PS4 and Xbox One will retire. Holiday 2020 will see a new generation of console wars between the sleek-looking router and the rectangular fridge. Of course, I was talking about the PS5 and Xbox Series X respectively. Nintendo does not plan on making a new console yet, although they upgraded their console into Switch V2.
2021 will become the new grounds of pushing the standards of gaming even further beyond.
Is the PC in Danger?
As like any generation wars, PC will always sit comfortably at the top. That will also mean new hardware from the likes of AMD and Nvidia. 2021 seems like an interesting year of exclusive games for both Sony and Microsoft.
