The 2019 Game of the Year nominee GRIS will soon get its mobile release soon. There is no confirmed date yet but it will surely come out on both Android and iOS. After its release in December 13, 2018 on PC, MAC and Nintendo Switch, GRIS earned praises left and right for its artistic visual design and unique platforming and puzzle experience. Developed by Nomada Studios and published by Devolver Digital, GRIS is an otherworldly game where emotions, art and puzzles blend together to create a rare kind of video game.
The game lets you take on a role of a nameless woman who is trapped in a bizarre world where she must explore and uncover the answer to every player’s question as they play the game: “What is going on?” The controls are simple enough for anybody to know hence the reason why it is getting its own mobile release. Platforming games are always known to be one of the most aesthetic types of games including Ori and the Blind Forest, Cuphead, Blasphemous, Katana Zero, and Shovel Knight. The game will not come in a free to play method but rather for a low price.
Devolver Digital, known for their games such as Hotline Miami 1 and 2, Broforce, My Friend Pedro and Enter the Gungeon, has yet to say how much it will officially cost. Currently, on Steam, GRIS only costs $8.
As you wait for its hype, why not try other visually-pleasing mobile games on PC like Monument Valley and Alto’s Adventure.
