Behaviour Interactive, the game developer of Dead by Daylight, recently released a trailer for a new Jurassic World game coming to mobile. The game is entitled Jurassic World Primal Ops, an action-adventure game where your mission is to rescue dinosaurs from extinction. However, there wasn’t a release date in the trailer. But, after the worldwide release of the movie Jurassic World Dominion, early access to the game is now available.
It gave people an early look as to the kind of gameplay Jurassic World Primal Ops offers. Let’s discuss in more detail what you can expect with this action-adventure game and see if it’s a game worth waiting for.
What is Jurassic World Primal Ops?
Jurassic World Primal Ops is an action-adventure game that’s set in a world where dinosaurs exist and are living among humans. But it’s not all rainbows and butterflies, as many people want to take advantage of the existence of dinosaurs in this world. So it’s up to you to stop them and free the captured dinosaurs. In this game, you play the role of a handler who needs to save the dinosaurs from malicious mercenaries, scientists, and poachers. But don’t worry, you’re not just any handler here, but a battle-tested handler who knows how to fight.
You’ll make use of a tranquilizer gun that can pack a wallop or you can use a gun to knock your enemies out. But the great thing about this game is that you won’t be doing this alone. You will have the assistance of dinosaurs, who will automatically attack enemies in sight. Therefore, every dinosaur you rescue can become a part of your team. Fortunately, there are many different dinosaurs that you can collect and each one of them possesses unique abilities.
Their abilities will be very useful in many missions. So, make sure you pick the right dinosaur to join your team. You can bring three (3) dinosaurs at a time, and you can easily change them, depending on your need. Moreover, the dinosaurs won’t be accompanying you, but you can call on them any time you need them. The gameplay is also in third-person point-of-view. So you’ll have a better view of the terrains. It will also help you see where the enemies are and plan for them properly.
How Do You Play Jurassic World Primal Ops?
Getting started with Jurassic World Primal Ops is simple. In the beginning, there will be a tutorial to teach you how to play the third-person game. In terms, of movement, there’s a joystick that you will control to move your character around. Then, there’s also a button that you can use for shooting your tranquilizer. It’s pretty much like a shooter game, except there are no aiming crosshairs. But aiming at the enemies is easy, you just make sure your character is facing them.
If you’re near enough, you won’t shoot the tranquilizer. Instead, you’ll use the gun. When there’s something on the field that you can pick up or interact with, just go near and tap the icon. Additionally, this is how you’ll unlock cages and free up dinosaurs. Once you free a captured dinosaur, you can call on them to assist you. The dinosaurs won’t accompany you on your mission, but there will be a button that you can use to call them whenever you need them.
It’s like a skill that you can use and they’ll automatically attack all enemies you see. Furthermore, it’s a great way to deal with many different enemies at once. Just call upon the dinosaurs that you’ve put on your team and they’ll automatically attack all the enemies. There are dozens of dinosaurs available for you to rescue to be part of your team.
Is Jurassic World Primal Ops a Fun Game?
The early access to the game shows that it’s very fun and exciting to play. The gameplay is cool, especially with shooting down enemies and freeing captured dinosaurs. In addition, it’s great that you get to collect many different dinosaurs with unique abilities. These unique and different abilities can help you greatly in your mission of freeing up the dinosaurs. You can just bring along the dinosaur you will need for the mission. It’s a game that’s worth playing once it becomes available.
With the early access already released, it means that it won’t be long before the full version of the game is available. Behaviour Interactive is likely just ironing out some bugs and using the early access to see if there are still issues with the game. Once they completed that, they’ll likely release a full version of the game. There isn’t an actual timetable provided, except it will be released in 2022. The full version will likely come out before June ends or by July. So, it won’t be a long wait before you can start playing the action-adventure game.
